Manage a Crisis Seminar
Designed for Managers, Supervisors and Small Business Owners.
This Crisis & Risk Management seminar will provide attendees with an overview of crisis management procedures. It will give you an understanding of the concepts, principles and processes involved in managing a crisis.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will gain an understanding of the various levels of management and the delineation of corresponding roles and responsibilities; identify some basic tools and processes that will better enable participants to respond to an emergency at the appropriate level; and have an appreciation of an emergency management structure and the relevance of emergency management policy, plans and procedures.

The course consists of a theoretical training session that incorporates a practical scenario.

- Dealing with Media in a crisis (including media releases and media statements)

Award
A certificate of attendance will be issued at the completion of the course.
Know your Awards - Fair Work Legislation
Know Your Modern Award session where you will receive general information on the implementation of the new modern Awards, while focusing specifically on the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award 2010 & Travelling Shows Award 2010 (and associated transitional arrangements).
This session will include:
- A brief overview of the Award Modernisation process;
- Briefing on specific terms and conditions of the above awards, with major changes highlighted from the existing NSW NAPSA or Award;
- Transitional arrangements;
- Impact of other modern Awards; and
- An opportunity to have our Workplace Relations Consultant answer your questions. The sessions are designed for the general management, human resources or payroll staff who will be responsible for the implementation of the new Award wages and conditions. The session will be conducted by Industrial Relations specialists.
